Concentration Areas
Two areas of concentration are required. Both concentrations require a minimum of 18 hours. Courses taken in the core and general education areas count towards concentrations. Upon completion of both concentrations, the following certifications are available:

- Social Studies (Grades 7 – 12)
- Science (Grades 7 – 8)
- Math (Grades 7 – 8)
Minimum test scores are required on one of the following:
- Praxis CORE (Reading: 156, Writing: 162, Math: 150)
- ACT (21 Overall Composite)
- SAT (990 Verbal and Quantitative)
Elementary Education majors may apply 62 community college credit hours to the bachelor’s degree.
