Welcome to the Global Accessibility Awareness (2023) page here at the University of Mississippi!

Why?

We aim to share accessibility best practices in order to foster inclusive education and an engaging learning environment here at the University of Mississippi, as well as to celebrate the upcoming Global Accessibility Awareness Day.

Who?

If you create and/or share documents, teach a course, or have an interest in accessibility, this is for you!

What?

This will be a series of BYOD (Bring Your Own Document) sessions focused on basic digital document accessibility issues and best practices. Sessions will cover common but simple to fix issues with digital documents. Have something you want to fix? Sign up for one or more sessions below and bring your files.

Times: 8:15 – 9:30 am, 11:00am – 12:15pm (zoom), 2:00 – 3:15 pm

Fix Your Content Day (May 4)

Bring your inaccessible digital documents to the Zoom Room (Meeting ID: 7112809321) for support. Come and go as you please between 8:00am – 4:15pm!

Please use the form below to sign up. A confirmation email will be sent to you once you have signed up, but it is not automatic so please refrain from signing up multiple times back to back. Feel free to sign up even if you can’t stay for an entire session!
