The Office of Sustainability provides education and outreach on the economic, social, and environmental aspects of sustainability. Presentation Topics
- General Presentation (EDHE and Introductory classes) – Presentation includes a short definition of sustainability, an overview of the Office of Sustainability, involvement opportunities, and sustainability tips.
- Student Organization/ Residential Presentation ( Housing programs, Greek Organizations, RSOs)- Presentation includes a comprehensive explanation of sustainability, condensed overview of the Office of Sustainability, emphasized volunteer opportunities, emphasized behaviour change focus and waste reduction.
- Custom Presentation (Specific course content, desired learning objectives, audience-specific) – Custom presentations can be requested to be tailored to specific content or outcomes. After submitting the request form a member of the Office of Sustainability team will reach out to learn more about the goals of the presentation. *These requests must be submitted at least 3 weeks in advance to give time for a new presentation to be made.
NOTE: Standard presentations must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance. While we will try to meet all presentation requests we cannot guarantee that last-minute requests will be booked due to busier times or reduced staff availability. The earlier that a presentation form is completed the better chance it has of being booked. You will receive a notice via email if your presentation is approved.
